Experience

Advice shaped by doing the work firsthand.

Dynamic Mindset was built inside city halls, health systems, classrooms, nonprofits, community partnerships, and on playing fields — where plans have to survive real budgets, real pressure, and real people.

Where we have done this

Experience built by leading the work, not advising from beside it.

Our practice was built inside city halls, rural health systems, classrooms, grant-funded nonprofits, and youth sports programs — the places where a plan either survives contact with real budgets and real people or it does not.

01

Economic Development & Destination Marketing

We ran a rural Arizona town's economic development marketing end to end — brand, public relations, website redevelopment, social media, and video — turning a scattered civic presence into one recognizable identity.

  • Rebuilt the economic development website and content strategy
  • Elevated local business and tourism assets through campaign work
  • Supported growth in local sales tax revenue
02

Tourism, Public Information & Partner Strategy

Six years directing economic development, tourism, and public information for a destination community — building the stakeholder alignment that regional growth depends on and holding it together through leadership turnover.

  • Destination identity and regional visibility strategy
  • Public-private partnership development across tribal, business, and civic partners
  • Award-winning website and marketing program
03

Leadership Development & Instruction

An ongoing teaching practice in psychology — human behavior, motivation, resilience, communication — that keeps our coaching work grounded in evidence rather than in the last book someone read on a plane.

  • Curriculum design and classroom instruction
  • Strengths-based coaching methods used in every engagement
  • Award-recognized teaching and curriculum work
04

Nonprofit Leadership & Crisis Communications

Nine years leading a grant-funded crisis-services organization: operations, advocacy, visibility, and the community partnerships that keep a small nonprofit funded and trusted.

  • Grant-funded growth and operational oversight
  • Advocacy and crisis-services visibility campaigns
  • Change leadership under real constraint, not hypothetical ones
05

Behavioral Health Program Direction

Directed behavioral health programming for a rural federally qualified health center, coordinating integrated care and access across rural and tribal communities.

  • Integrated care program design
  • Stakeholder coordination across rural and tribal service areas
  • Crisis-informed operational leadership
06

Youth Sports Coaching & Athlete Development

More than 20 years coaching young athletes across multiple sports, from large-city programs to rural communities. The work has included recreation, assistant, and travel coaching — helping athletes build confidence, earn statewide recognition, and continue into collegiate competition.

  • Played collegiately and learned under Hall of Fame-caliber coaches
  • Coached players to statewide recognition across multiple sports
  • Helped numerous athletes progress to collegiate competition

Measured results

We grew a destination economy's sales tax base 40% in four fiscal years.

Over a multi-year engagement, our program directed economic development, tourism, and public information for a destination community. Across every fiscal year with comparable published totals, sales tax collections — the number a council actually votes on — rose from $13.6M to $19.1M, a gain of $5.5M a year.
